Johnson
Pivoting from local to national firm
Structural engineering firms don't often have a brand problem until they do. Johnson had quietly made a successful pivot from public infrastructure to private development, winning complex mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects across the country, but their website still said otherwise. We designed a new digital presence built for the audience they were already working with: private developers and real estate firms who make fast decisions and can't afford the wrong partner. The site leads with the work — large, grounded photography that lets completed structures speak plainly — while a clean grid manages the technical depth their clients expect without overwhelming it, and a cool teal palette brings focus and confidence to a sector that often defaults to corporate gray.
